It's Fall!

Earlier in November, we took the kids outside to play in the leaves and to ride bikes. We have a family (friends of ours) living with us for a little while so their children are featured in these photos too. They had a great time together! They even made pom-poms out of the leaves! :) So the video at the end is a cheer that Eva made up and the other kids joined in on.

Halloween 2010

Halloween has come and gone again! WOW! This year has gone by at mock speeds but we are enjoying every minute of it. We celebrated yesterday (and so did the rest of Utah). Here are some pictures:

We got 2 years use out of their costumes! Yeah! So Eva was Supergirl and Spencer was Batman again. I know it was unoriginal but they didn't seem to mind!

We took the kids trick-or-treating to the mall because it was pouring rain! The back half of me was soaked by the time we walked into the mall from the car and we had umbrellas!

We walked into the mall and we met up with our friends! So I had to take pictures of our four kids together!

After the mall, we came back home and Adam took the kids around our neighborhood for about 20 minutes while I pulled something together for dinner (yes, we went trick-or-treating without dinner)! Everyone got to bed super late and we all felt like zombies today but we had a good time. Now we have to get ready for Thanksgiving, birthdays, anniversary, Christmas, and New Years! :)

Kindergarten Halloween party

Halloween was a blast this year! Yesterday was Eva's kindergarten Halloween party and I got to go help out! It was fun to see her interact with her friends and be so excited to introduce me to all of them. She wanted me around! I am going to cling to that memory during her teenage years when she would rather have me miles away. :) Here she coloring a pumpkin: They had everything organized in rotating stations so here is Eva at the cupcake decorating and eating station!

I got courageous and took the kids to the zoo last Friday because Eva was off school for fall break. We had a great time - here are some pictures:

Eva started Kindergarten!

Eva had her first day of Kindergarten on August 18th, 2010! I can't believe she is old enough for that but, alas, she is! I have to learn to accept it. She is attending a charter school along with her cousin Katie. She is really enjoying it and absorbing all that they can teach her and she looks adorable in her uniforms. :)

We are still alive!

Hello world! We are still alive here in Orem! A lot of things have changed around here in the last year. Back in April, I quit working as an apartment manager in order to get a better handle on my health and to take care of my two beautiful kids. I think they have been feeling neglected so I am happy to be able to spend more time with them. During the summer, Adam and I went to Italy for two weeks vacation. It was amazing! Quite an adventure for the two of us! We have had people move in and out of our house - friends who needed somewhere to stay. It has been good! We enjoy having people with us but it is always hard when they leave. I get attached and I miss them. Now school year has started and Halloween is around the corner again. It was a FAST year!

HALLOWEEN

Halloween was fun this year! It was fun taking our two little super heros around the neighborhood, through the university mall and to family and friends houses to get . . . CANDY! They came home with a lot! Here are some of our favorite pictures:
