Eva Update
Eva is such a pretty girl! I was watching her play yesterday and had a proud mama moment. I love her coloring! I think up ways to deter possible suitors, at least until she is 25! :) Here are a few pictures from yesterday.
Spencer Update
One of my new hobbies . . .
Since we bought our house two years ago, I have been dreading taking care of the yard but this year has been nice. I have have found I actually like planting flowers and taking care of them. I am really enjoying being outside working in the soil. I just have to get my joints to stop aching so much and then I could do more of it!
Eva loves to come out with me . . .

Mission Reunion in Dallas
Lucky for me, one of favorite mission companions, Tamara Lisonbee, lives in Dallas so I was able to see here while I was there! That was such a treat. We went to a mexican restaurant relatively close to our hotel and talked for a good long time. It was great fun and the food was good too. I am not really a mexican food eater normally but I had heard that Texas mexican food was great. I wasn't disappointed! We were enjoying ourselves so much that we stayed until past when the restaurant closed - they were cleaning up and closing up around us but we didn't get the clue! Very unobservant and focused on ourselves.
Tamara is expecting any day now and looks so cute pregnant. Here is a picture of the two of us - unfortunately you can't really see her pregnant middle very well:

Dallas, Texas
So, the main reason we took a trip to Las Vegas in the middle of summer was to drop off the kids to Grandma and Grandpa Rushforth while Adam and I attended a National Federation of the Blind Convention in Dallas, Texas. That was an adventure! It is quite a sight to behold - a hotel full of blind people finding their way around quite well! We spent time with friends Adam has made over the years - it was very fun for me to finally meet them and learn a little bit more about my husband in the process! :)
Here are some pictures of some of Adam's friends:

We saw Deja Powell for the last time at the Banquet we had on July 4th.
We hung out a lot with Tara and Tyler Briggs from Salt Lake City. It was fun to get to know them better - they are amazing people!
We had a good time in Dallas but I was very anxious to get back to my little kids. I couldn't wait to get back to Vegas, not withstanding the heat wave.
I finally got to see COVE FORT
