Update on the Rushforths

We are all surviving - mostly! Adam and I are exhausted and ready for his MBA to be finished. 7 months and counting!
The kids are doing really well! Eva is back in pre-school and still doing gymnastics. Spencer is growing up so quickly! He is talking up a storm (in 3 languages) and he is the most popular one in our house (some of my friends are living with us right now and they go goo-goo over him)!

My brother got married!

The wedding went really well! David and Alejandra were married a couples of weeks ago and everything went smoothly. She looked beautiful and David looked sooooo happy! Here are some of my picks:

And he is off to school . . .

Adam left this morning for work and will go straight from work to school tonight. The new semester has begun and I am a single mom again. Adam has class Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights from 6-10pm so he leaves on Tuesday morning and comes home Friday afternoon. It is a crazy schedule for him! Maybe it's bad of me but part of me looks forward to the time by myself. So every Tuesday that Adam is in school, I am excited for some alone time but by Thursday night I am so frazzled and ready for Daddy to come home so I can relax. But, he is also ready to come home and relax! We both can't relax. One of us has to be taking care of whirlwind #1 and whirlwind #2. Working that out can sometimes be hard. I need some ideas of fun things to do with the kids! Anyone got any good ideas?

My brother's engaged!

My little brother is getting married!!! Can you believe it? I knew this day would come eventually but it really hit me like a ton of bricks. Anyway, they are getting married September 18th (a special day for me because it is Chile's Independence day) - in 3 SHORT weeks! They got engaged 3 weeks ago and we are so excited for both of them. Her name is Alejandra (Ale or Alex for short) and she is from Bolivia. I took their engagement pictures the other day. Here are a few of the results. Remember that I am not a professional photographer (although I would love to learn). I thought some of them were pretty good for my first attempt! :)

Pictures in front of Jordan River Temple

I know we sort of dropped of the planet but we are alive! Anyway, here are a few pictures we took up at the Jordan River Temple last Monday. Our Stake President asked us to take pictures of our children in front of the temple so it would remind them of their goal to make it there. So we finally did. Now if i could only choose one to put up! :)

The Denver Zoo with Sally & Sox

We got to go to the Zoo today! It was a blast! I called Sox to make plans for Saturday and she happened to be going to the zoo too so we met her and her kids there. It was a good time. Here are some pictures:

Spencer's first airplane flight

We are down in Colorado visitng Sally for her graduation from the University of Denver (masters degree). Spencer got to ride an airplane yesterday (June 3rd, 2009) for the first time and I am sure he had no idea where he was.
Both of the kids were so good! I was expecting the flight to be very hard but both kids (especially Eva) were very well mannnered, happy, obedient, etc. The short length of the plane ride probably helped a little! :)
The plane was very empty so Spencer got his own seat. At first I had him on the isle but I had to move him to the middle. I got tired of picking up the toys he dropped into the isle (on purpose). Silly boy!
